She came back this morning and woke me up with a very serious expression. She just had her driving test.
I ask her how she fared.
She just shook her head and hugged me for comfort. I asked her again. She shook her head again.
Then, she looked up...into my eyes. And gave a big smile.
Today marks a very special day. Eliss has got her class 3 driving license! Now she can drive me around without being afraid of traffic police road blocks.
I could still remember vividly the day I got my license in '99. That was part of my 21st birthday resolution. It didn't come easy, but it came eventually.
I'm so proud of her.
So, in order to reward her, I treat her to a nice meal of ma la huo (Taiwanese spicy hotpot). It was a wonderful evening. And it was the first time we took a bus to Sunnybank. Didn't know it takes less than half an hour to reach there.

Still thinking of my Air Force 1...should I possess it for $135? You can find the picture at www.crookedtongues.com.
Going to play chess with Uncle Zhou now. Yawnz.
