I'm finally back with some more updates after MIA for about 2 weeks.

Latest happenings.

Went West Coast Park for the 1st time in my life to rollerblade last weekend. I didn't know that there is such a nice little place 10 mins bus ride away from Jurong East. The air is fresh and the children playground is beautiful. Eliss's cell members were there for a picnic so I just join her. She caught up with them while I had a appointment with my 8 wheelers so comb the unfamiliar area. Took some scenary photos and bladed the whole park. I reckon you will take about 30 minutes of normal skating to finish the whole area.

Celebrated birthday with family and Eliss at Grand Plaza Park Royal. We had a la carte buffet and it was quite a spread. The food was good but the service was not up to standard. So after the wonderful and kinda pissed off with the service, my dad went to foot the bill. My sis insisted that we can waived off the 10% service charge...and we did. The money saved was used to fill up the petrol tank. Buffet with free petrol, good deal, eh?

I've been offered a position as a Marketing Executive with an SME call Fullhouse Communications (www.fullhouse.com.sg). Today was my 9th interview to date. Awaiting the offer letter to finalise some details. If all ok, I'll start work on 27/3...on my mum's birthday. So I've an interview on my birthday and a job on my mum's. Cool eh? I came back on 13/2 and got a job on the 25/3. So I took about 6 weeks to find a job here. And the place is very close to my dad's...so that means I have free transport to work daily, reducing my transport costs. What a birthday present from God!

Pst Phil Pringle came to service last week. This is indeed a testimony that I want to share.

My youngest sis of 13 yrs old has been quite an introvert suddenly. Heard from my parents that she has not been going out for the past half a year. When I came back, not only did we hang out at Peninsula to look at soccer jerseys (she's a Reds fan, like me!)...she even accepted my invitation to attend the evangelistic meeting! I was surprised and really thankful that she's so open to me. Really thank God for His favour. Although she did not response to the altar call, a seed has been planted in her. Amen to that!

Got a new PC last week at Sim Lim. A DIY set that cost about $1.1k without monitor (use back my old 17" CRT Philips 107/S). The specs:

P4 2.4Ghz
512 DDR Ram
60GB Seagate Barracuda HD
nVidia GeForce4 64Mb graphics card
Intel D845EBG2 mainboard with integrated sound card
Sony 48x/24x/48x CDRW
Sony DVD Rom

The deal came with free casing, small speakers (cannot make it) PS/2 mouse and keyboard.

Family got Singnet ADSL (256k, unlimited download plan) about a month ago, so with the new pc, it's really like "COOL" to go online... bye to 56k dial up!

Had been going in and out of JB at least 4 times in this past month. My dad goes in to send his stuff over to his clients and I just tag along to eat and shop. Missed The Bamboo restaurant's Emperor Chicken. If you've not tried before, must go when you come back! It's pretty close to The Store... which has cheap Mizuno stuff...if you like that brand. Will be going there again tomorrow to celebrate my mum's birthday. Thought of giving her a treat, she hinted she wanted a hair dryer...so I'll be looking out for that tomorrow.

I must be getting old, I feel that my fitness level is worse thatn a 50yr old uncle. Have to going for regular badminton sessions with my dad and his friends. After 2 sets of intensive smashing and running, I was left breathless. But the uncles just keep going on and on... Reservist jialat, man.
