Went for 2 photoshoots back to back. One at Chinese Garden and the other at Woking Road.
The one at Chinese Garden was a mock wedding luncheon setup by a florist. The setting is really pretty. But too bad the florist has got an attitude problem. She keeps picking on us and demands everything to be her way. If not, she'll complain and threaten to pull out for future ads.
Which she did eventually. But to our relief as well, as that'll probably be the last time to work with them.
The one at Woking Road was more fun. We met at C&C to pick up 3 Mercedes. I took the E240 while my other colleagues took the E200 coupe and C180 respectively.
The feel of driving the 2.4l German beast so exhilarating. It was my first time so was a bit scared inside. Although it's an auto car, there is no release button on the gear stick. I fiddled for about 1/2 a minute and manage to operate it. And the handbrake is on the right side, and is just a button to pull out. I was shocked to find no handbrakes on the left initially. Silly me. The driver seat is all electronic, including the head rest and back support. When you park your car, there is a sensor at the back to warn you if you are too close to another car or wall. And when you stop the engine, the seat willmove backwards so you can come out easier, which will re adjust back to its initial postion when you start the engine.
The shoot went well, it was a bridal car setup. All the cars are dressed pretty with ribbons and flowers.
After that, the sky split open and rain began to pour.
We returned the cars safely and took a cab back to office.
Went for an appointment with a florist to close a deal. It was my first sale! The MD praised me today.
Early lunch for me today, followed parents to Holland Village for some fish bee hoon. Uncle's treat for helping him fix up his pc.
Went for another appointment later, to a restaurant to let the boss sign the artwork. There were however some changes required, so have to go back again tomorrow.
Looking forward for next Fri's holiday. Wonder if Sat is also an off day, that will be a nice long weekend...
