Went to meet my ex UQ mates for dinner the other day. We went to this ba kut teh store near Bugis, which served pretty decent soup.

Esmond and Rachel are doing well in DBS, and Kelvin is an engineer with Mitsubishi. Now I know who to look for for my Evolution rally car... staff discount may be very attaractive. A 10% off will save me about $14000...

We chatted about investment plans as Esmond is now a Relationship Manager. I'm considering to take up one due to the meagre 0.125% interest for the savings account. It's not even enough to cover the annual inflation rate. So I'm actually "losing" money by letting it sit in the account. Still need to do more research.

Stayed in the office till about 3pm today, making appointments for the week. Will be going to a few places tomorrow. Boss told me today not to take cab so often. I was like sheesh...as if! I take cab most of the time and I had to take cab cos they make me the delivery guy to pick up stuff for the photo shoot, and there is no transport arrangement for me. How can I take a bus with 4 bags of crystals, which cost a few grand?

This SARS thingy is driving me nuts. From morning at the canteen till supper at home, it's always about the same thing. What is the media trying to do to inflict so much fear in the public? Government is coming up with a rescue kit for the industry directly hit by the epidermic, and does not do anything control what the media says?

In this already gloomy economy, how can we encourage one another if everything around us keep reminding about the virus? At least the Iraq war is over, or else we don't have to be a rocket scientist to guess the next day headlines.

Have you seen the Nissan Primera? It's a strange looking car...kinda futuristic but...I don't like it somehow. I wish Singapore has the Holden Monaro or the Ford Falcon from Aussie. These V6 or V8 are just so beautiful. Definitely stand out from the crowd of Benzs and BMWs... But I still also like the new WRX STI. Awesome!

Miss ma la huo guo from Xiao Taipei at Sunnybank. Even the counter girl looks like Cass Pang... what more can you ask? And the Taiwanese girls will use their "teh" voice to ask us to acknowledge our drink, " Who ordered Jen ju nai cha... (high pitch)?"

Are you into Betas? Or better known as Siamese fish... Heard there is a really good shop at Sembawang Shopping centre. Must go there take a look. I feel that its going to be the next big thing after the Flower Horn fever... let's see how things turn out.

Met Vincent, my old pal when I was around Raffles Place. He still looks the same. He now has a girlfriend wh is a kindergarten teacher. Saw her photo, they look compatible. She looks like really sweet and kind, very "teacher looking" if you know what I mean.
