Happy Labour Day!
Today went with cell to East Coast Park for gathering cum CGM. It was fun. Rollerbladed for a while and played frisbee.
For the one of the game items, I did an assisted hand stand... I haven't done a hand stand for as long as I can remember! It's an interesting perspective to see the world upside down for a change...or is it?
Then after singing praise and worship, Gina led us to the day's sermon, the topic was Trusting God...while the sky was overcasted.
After we pray for good weather, we could literally see the rain cloud sweeping towards our direction from the sea! We ran for our life when it started to drizzle. After a few second, the sky split open and rain just pour like mad...
We hid under a gazebo and some Indians just keep drumming and singing...I'm not impressed.
After that, we met up again and carried on with the cell at another venue.
This was indeed Mayday for me, man!
After that, went to eat Katong laksa with Eliss. It's been a while since we go there together. Also ordered tau kua pao, something both of us has never tried before.
It's tau kua stuffed with braised meat and hard boil eggs, served with very tasty chilli paste. As the tau kua is quite chunky, I'll advice you to cut it into bite size pieces before attempting to put into your mouth. While chewing, put the rest of the condiments into your mouth with a dallop of the chilli paste to taste. Heavenly.
