What a great feast that Eliss and I whipped up that night.
It was a Thai inspired spread. We had nasi goreng istimewa garnished with ikan bilis Thai green curry chicken legs (meaning drumstick + thigh, not claws ok?), seafood tom yum soup, pan fried prawns with dark soy, sambal calamari rings, kore karaage (Jap fried chicken nuggets), char siew and sauteed chai sim with champinions. How does that sound to you?
The meal was complemented with Pokka ice green tea. The light refreshing taste helps wash down the spiciness of the gastranomical delights. The tele was showing X Men, which heighten the whole dining experience.
It's been ages since I last cook. I feel that I've lost touch... especially in terms of controlling the heat. Back in Aust, we use electrical stove which takes ages to heat up... and it's not really that hot at all too. By LPG is different, the flame is bigger and things can get burnt very fast if you don't turn it down accordingly.
So what do you usually cook? And how about sharing some recipes? You can post in on my blog.
Went Trade Mart today at Martin Road. People say that there are a lot of sales over there, but it seems that there is none today, sigh. A lot of big companies are located there, which I'm sure some of you will kill to work there. Does Estee Lauder sound appealing enough?
Tonight's badminton was a not too bad, although my first 2 sets is like... sheesh..let's not talk about it. But the matches after that saw an improvement. Let's just say the shuttle goes to the places I want it to go most of the time.
