Was made the delivery boy again today. I think my driving skills are improving as I can now navigate quite effortlessly at Kaki Bukit and Ubi area at peak hour.
Went for badminton yesterday finally, took a break after the ankle sprain a month ago. It felt good to be fit for play again. Went Mustafa to check out on rechargeble batteries for my digi cam. Although it was past 10pm, the crowd there is still very encouraging. Looks like their calculated risk paid off, for the moment at least.
Hear from the news just now that the NEL is finally going to be opened after a few months delay, the line was originally supposed to be open in December.
The Serangoon station, will comprise of reinforced concrete structures built inside temporary cofferdams. The station also serve as civil defence shelters and as the interchage for CCL. It will link all Rapid Transit System (RTS) lines running into the city. It will run from Dhoby Ghaut to Paya Lebar, Serangoon, Bishan, Buona Vista and HarbourFront. It will provide inter sub-urban linkages, allowing MRT passengers going to other parts of Singapore to bypass the city centre, thus cutting down on travel time.
The sad fact, it'll only be ready in 2008.
Suddenly thought of getting a car. I know you will say how impractical and expensive and all. Well, when I have a car, do you want a lift? 'Nuff said.
I really like the Mitsubishi Lancer Coupe, but it's not available here.
