A good Sunday to you! Weather is just great today. Went for cell earlier and it was quite good.
Went Peninsula to look at jerseys yesterday. Really want to get the new Real Madrid one, but it costs a whopping $85. So still contemplating.
Anyway, I noticed a lot of kids in these Heelys gliding around. I mean, since the shopping centres had banned rollerblading and skatebording in their premises, they should ban Heelys too. Not only they are inexperienced in those, the kids are likely hazardous to our shoppers and other children.
Why am I so agitated? Because I got stopped by so many security guards while I rollerbladed in shopping centres and at Raffles Place area. I believe I'm much better than those little punk in sneakers with wheels, why don't they stop them? Hmph!
Are you an Eminem fan? Well if you are, here's a great opportunity to get your hands on the Air Slim Shady. Niketown in London's Oxford Circus are holding their monthly event called '1st Thursday' at 6:00pm on Thursday 7th August, where the Air Slim Shady will be available. There will be 9 pairs of the Air Slim Shady available to buy. Eminem himself has signed 4 pairs, which will be auctioned; only the 5 winners of a raffle, to be held on the day, will be eligible to purchase the remaining pairs at a price of £150. The Air Slim Shady is part of the 'Three Pack Series' released previously in the USA. Only 1000 individually numbered pairs were produced, and the proceeds from the sale of these shoes will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation. As for the shoe itself, 'Air Slim Shady' appears on the tongue, Eminem's 'E' logo is printed on the sock-liner and the Shady Records motif appears in the middle of the clear outsole.
The Sony VAIO PCG-TR1 is possibly one of the best-looking Centrino notebooks in my point of view, with its compact shape and sleek, elegant design. But this sub-notebook is not just about pedigreed good looks. Open the lid and you will find a bevy of powerful features, including an impressive widescreen LCD display, a built-in digital video camera and onboard optical drive. As with most ultracompacts, this VAIO comes at a premium price @ $3799.
Was going through some digital camera reviews and mine still stood first for the sub $600 category. Feel so happy, haha!
Other than Nokia's traditional scroll-based interface, the new 7250i provides the added option of an icon-based menu and incorporates a slideshow feature so your friends can enjoy your photo collection on your cell phone. One less-known function of the 7250 and 7250i is that the built-in speakerphone can be used for radio listening as well, which is a great way to share music with friends. Furthermore, the terminal can be set to turn on the radio automatically as an alarm.
Some shops are selling the 7250i at S$638 with a two-year contract. If you're a new buyer, this competitive pricing means you should consider skipping the 7250 (which will be gradually phased out) to go straight for the 7250i.
