Meet the Dove girls this season as they gush about how their hair feels 'bouncy' and 'springy', and how they have become 'happy', 'shiny' and 'sexy' since using the shampoo.
The personal testimonial concept for the Dove ads was conceived in the late 1980s by Ogilvy & Mather Advertising for the American market. It has since been replicated in more than 100 countries where the shampoo, owned by British-Dutch consumer goods giant Unilever, is sold.
So what sets a Dove girl apart from a Lux girl?
'A Lux girl is a celebrity. Dove girls are ordinary women with stories to tell, to inspire other women.'

England wing Jason Robinson sets sail for the try line to score a five pointer just before half time
Australia flanker George Smith tries to escape the tackle of England centre Mike Tindall
England have beaten Australia 20-17 in a thrilling Rugby World Cup final before a capacity crowd at Sydney’s Telstra Stadium tonight.
With the scores locked at 17-all after 19 minutes of extra time it was the marksmanship of England’s Jonny Wilkinson that proved the difference, the mercurial fly half kicking a drop goal to secure victory.
Australia took the early lead with a try to wing Lote Tuqiri in the sixth minute but three unanswered penalty goals from Wilkinson and a try to wing Jason Robinson put England in the driver’s seat leading 14-5 at half time.
But it was the Wallabies that set the tone for the first half moving the ball wide early despite the wet conditions.
The final was only six minutes old when Australian fly half Stephen Larkham put a kick to the left corner for Tuqiri to leap high for the ball and plant it over the try line for the first points of the match.
The England players have their hands on the Webb Ellis Cup - and aren't they happy!

Had a dinner appointment with some friends at their house for steamboat. I was stuck to the telly for the very exciting rugby finals. Didn't expect that they will play into extra time.
Sumptous spread of meat and seafood teased our senses. The rich broth added new dimension to the dining experience.
Eliss made a name for herself with tantalising mango pudding. The sweet toothed friends could not help but keep complimenting her while finishing plates after plates of the delicious dessert.
J and D were telling us about their experience as sales people. Seems like everyone has a story to tell. I rather keep quiet and just share with Eliss only.
M is back from Brisbane! And C is back from Auckland. Had a good chat over the phone and will be meeting up one of these days. Lots of catching up to do, man.
I guess more and more people from Down Under will be back for good or for the summer vacation. Time really flies.
After the Friday night service, we had a sudden craving for mee goreng and murtabak. So we headed down to Jalan Kayu for a feast. It was drizzling that night so the weather was pretty cooling. We had a good chat over a cup of ice bandung.
Can sleep in tomorrow, as I'm on leave! Yeah! Tue is PH! Cool, eh?
