Mother's Day was spent at Turf City eating bbq steamboat. Food is not as good as Marina South, but with free parking and Giant just beside, it has its strength.
When was the last time you went to eat Ajisen Ramen? Eliss and I went last Saturday to eat at the Bugis outlet. We were very very pleased by their speedy and prompt service. We awed at the chemistry between the staff and the quality of the food. Kudos to the Ajisen team!
I finally bought the new Nikon lens. It's frustrating that my current AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED does not have enough zoom to capture the expressions on people faces.
Wanted to get the AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED, but at a street price of $620, I took AF Zoom-Nikkor 75-240mm f/4-5.6G at a good deal of $230 instead.
Looking forward to shoot those close ups that I always wanted.
Caught Van Helsing with Eliss last week. I liked the SFX, and the vampire brides. Maybe I'm fascinated by classic horror characters, Director Stephen Sommers have cleverly created and linked the characters together.
I must have ate bbq steamboat like 3 times for the past month. And cell group wants to go Marina South next weekend to play and eat you know what. Well... I'll be brining my camera along to capture good shots.
