1 more week to the end of ICT. Finally can go back to my civilian life. But it'll take another week for my brain to wake up from hibernation. I think grow grass already.

Have you seen the new army boots? Quite cool leh, made of Kevlar (same material used in bulletproof vest) and is water proofed with Gore-Tex (same stuff on Timberland boots). Cost slightly over $100. But since SAF already credited the money in our account to use, then mai tu liao!

I went to the boss to scan my ic to check my credit balance, he said

"Boss ar, you have $10 balance. Want to top us $90 by cash?"

"No way!", my mind screamed. I'm not going to pay a single cent from my pocket for SAF related items!

I happily put back the boots. Have to wait for a few more ICTs before I have that kind of money to buy the boots. In the end, I left the E-Mart with 2 pairs of tank tops (we call them vests in SAF) and 2 water bottles. Credit balance: $3.33.

Don't feel like going back to parents' place for dinner. So I cooked something which I haven't eat for a long time. This is a very simple recipe. For Australian architectural students, this will be a God sent...

2. Set aside.
3. Heat oil in sauce pan. add garlic and fry till fragrant.
4. Add Narcissus Pork Mince with Bean Paste and stir fry for 1 minute.
5. Add noodles in and continue to stir fry.

7. Turn off flame when brought to a boil.
8. Crack the egg in and stir through till egg white get cooked.

This recipe was taught by my dad. He used to cook this in his dorm, illegally! It taste really good! Similar to the Taiwanese style. Try it!
