It has been a great one month so far.
I read my sis's blog and I could totally relate to her emotions. She is based in London now by the way.
I'm very proud of her, for her courage and her survival spirit. She can make it anywhere in the world

I was invited by some friends to yum cha at this restaurant at Market City, located in Chinatown. The boss was such a cheapskate and replaced the fallen letter of his signboard with a sticker.
Eliss told me their main outlet was at Bondi Junction, which was much classier that this place here.

Food was a standard affair of familiar dishes, except this one. Squid cooked steamed in har cheong (prawn paste). Pretty delicious.

Have you seen a spanner crab before? It looked really weird, and I had never tasted one before. Have you?
I saw these at a seafood stall downstairs.

The guys were asking for some pasta dinner, so I prepared a simple dish of pasta maninara in tomato concasse, coated with melted mozarella.
We had the meal while watching Chun's dvd. It was a standup comedy by this ABI (American Born Indian). He was cracking some of the best racist jokes I had ever heard.
One of those was about him being hypersensitive to words. He was asking a white guy what time it was, and he replied him that it was 3 o'clock, on the dot.
And he went ballistic! Haha.. Corny Indian dot jokes at its best.

The side dish was some oven baked chips with melted cheddar.
I'll be heading for Melbourne for a week over the weekend. This blog may not be updated during this time, but I promise you it will be filled up beautiful pictures to tell you the stories when I get back.
