I got my very own Woolies name tag! The yellow cap was too loud for me though.
There were many Indians in this group. Some of them were here for 2 years before they got a job here. So they told me I should be grateful.
Today, we had a guided tour to the different departments, like the Deli, Produce and Bakery. Very interesting to see the preparation area.

There is a Deli Festival happening now and I'm looking forward to have my hands on the ham slicer next week when I start work officially at Eastlakes store.
Chatted with an the only Aussie guy in the group today. Didn't know that he actually was a racing enthusiasts and owned 2 cars. A Nissan Pulsar for driving, and a Skyline GTR R34 for racing. Amazing.
His car was modified with a 500bhp engine and the fastest speed he drove was 280km/hr on the road.
He lost his license once for speeding, and who would be surprised?
I find Woolworths pretty structured in their management. Emphasized a lot on its people. I reckon I'll like it here.

I was in the city the other day and witnessed the above scene. Some rich kid parked his Ferrari 360 Modena illegally on the pavement. The City Ranger ( aka fatimah) was circling the red Prancing Horse, probably wanted to give the owner the parking ticket personally.
Anyway, the owner didn't show up for the next 5 mins, and he got a pretty dear "gift" from the NSW government.
Aiya, if he can afford a toy like this, what is a couple of hundred dollars fine?
