Network 7 finally showed Heroes tonight. It was the NBC's most-watched program, attracting 14.3 million viewers when it premiered in US last September!
It's about time for Aussie fans!

The series tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realise they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind.
What kind of super power would you like to have, if you are given the choice?
I would probably choose the power of Hiro Nakamura, who has the ability to manipulate the space-time continuum.
If I can time travel, I can stop many bad things from happening in the future. And I can go back into the past and see how Jesus really looks like.

Is this a scene from the latest Harry Potter movie?
Nah. his is a publicity shot of Daniel Radcliffe's character in Equus, a controversial play where he plays a troubled stable hand who blinded 6 horses with a hoof pick.
He will appear in numerous nude scenes with co-star Joanna Christie, and parents are fuming as they are very concerned about the bad influence on their kids.
I guess its difficult when you become famous by playing in children movies.

Anyone still remember Britney Spears during her Mickey Mouse Club days? Then look at her in a provocatively modified Catholic school girl's uniform in the video for "Baby One More Time".
I feel that parents should educate their children about values and don't push all the responsibilities to the media. Ignorance will not help, kids more know stuff than ever before with the internet. Parents just got to work harder and smarter to explain to their kids.

Kids love Macca fries. And you should be worried about the canola oil that is used for the deep frying. Ever heard of trans fat?
Well, trans fats occur when oils are partially hydrogenated. These oils are used by restaurants because they are cheap, can be reheated and last longer.
Why is is bad? Trans fat lowers levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and raise levels of LDL (unhealthy cholesterol). This will lead to heart diseases. You don't want that for sure.
Australian manufacturers aren’t required to include trans fat unless they make a claim about cholesterol or unsaturated fats.
So be wise when you take the next bite.
