Woke up at 5.10am, the earliest this year. Why? Because I had to start work at 6am today.

My manager gave me 6 packs of Crown Lager, as she found it too "dry" for her liking. Oh well, any kind of free beer sounds good to me!

I didn't know there were so many kind of beers in the market till I went shopping at their bottle shops. The range is amazing!

Ale

Ale is a beer style brewed from barley malt with a top fermenting brewers yeast that ferments quickly, giving a sweet, full body and a fruity, and sometimes a butter-like taste.

Lager

Lager is brewed in cool conditions using a bottom fermenting brewers yeast, and then stored (or "lagered") for a period in cool conditions to clear away particles and certain flavour compounds to produce a clean taste.

Lambic

Lambic beer is produced by spontaneous fermentation where it is exposed to the wild yeasts and bacteria that are native to the Senne valley. This unusual process which gives the beer its distinctive flavour: dry, vinous, and cidery, with a slightly sour aftertaste.

Lambic is brewed only in the Payottenland region of Belgium (southwest of Brussels).

What are friends for? They are for you to show your off this new found knowledge when you guys are at a pub.
