I know I may sound shameless, but my birthday is next Sunday and it's going to be my off day too! My first weekend off since I started at this job a month ago.

And as most people will do, I am coming up with a wish list. So if you feel led in the spirit, don't fight the feeling ok?

Nokia 6110 Navigator - so I don't get lost driving with the built-in GPS, and don't miss a call from a prospective client if I still got lost.

A pair of Air Jordan 1 - simply classic!

A bike license!

Followed by a Vespa!

That's all I have at the moment. I will add on once I think of more things.

Happy 75th birthday to the world's widest single-span and the largest steel arch bridge - the Sydney harbour Bridge!

An army of 200,000 will march across the beauty today to mark the this milestone.

Am I in? No thank you.

Talking about beauty, which is so subjective nowadays.

Well, the old saying "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" is about to change if this computer software becomes the industry standard.

University of Technology, Sydney computer scientists Hatice Gunes and Massimo Piccardi have created computer software that can distinguish a beautiful female face from a less attractive one.

The system was developed by dividing the face into a series of measurements, such as the distance between the top of the face and the chin and the distance between the eyes. A collection of 215 images of women of different ages, levels of attractiveness and ethnic backgrounds, including photographs of Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss and Catherine Zeta-Jones were fed into the database.

The images were shown to a mixed gender, multiracial panel of 50 volunteers who gave each face a rating of between 1 and 10.

Oh come on guys! Some things are meant to be grey. If something like beauty has to be determined by a Mac (or a PC), life will be boring!

The human element is important, even though it's flawed.

How many of you have witnessed some kayu referees (especially those that makes the most crappy decisions) and you just went hopping mad? That's what it's all about! Controversies!

So I beg you, brethren. Life is not in black and white, isn't it?
