Happy Easter Monday! The PM and other ministers must be grinning from ear to ear now, after announcement that their annual salaries will be increased by between 14% and 33%.

For civil servants in general, increase will is between 3% and 5%.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong earned $2.5m last year; after the revision, he will draw $3.1m this year.

President SR Nathan will get $3.2m, this is up from the current $2.5 m while both Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Kwan Yew who earned $2.7m each last year, will now get paid $3.04m each.

Eliss and I went to rent some Hong Kong dramas DVDs to watch in our room. It was the first time that we did this, ever! We usually borrow from someone or just buy off the shelves.

The drama was an adaptation from the original CSI, and it was pretty entertaining indeed!

I can foresee the late nights coming up to finish up the 25 episodes in 10 days.
