Have you been to this place? It was our first after being in Sydney for almost 1.5 years.
It's located on the shores of Mosman, so the best way to go is by the waters.
Apparently, it has about 340 species and over 2600 animals. Pretty big place, it seems.

It must be been since uni days that I boarded the ferry services at Circular Quay. Eliss reminded me that we took that to Manly Beach when we toured in 2002.

Eliss with her newly coloured hair.

It was beautiful weather all the way.

All the holiday makers with the same destination in mind.

What is he doing?! Is anyone driving the ferry? Oh yes, there is another guy in front. Phew!

Here we are!

We took the gondola up and the the view was breathtaking.

This little thing sleeps like 20hrs a day. I hardly have a picture of a koala with its eyes opened.

The kangaroo making itself comfy under the shade. Wait, what that in its pouch?

Oh! A joey! Is it hiding from the sun as well? I hope it's air conditioned inside.

I thought elephants are gray in colour. Maybe its the red clay that it is rubbing itself with.

The zoo keeper cooling the giant down, and it is really enjoying it.

Is that a snake?!

Nah, just a dead flower off a cactus. Scared you, eh?

I tried looking for this in NZ but in vain, and was surprised to find it here. Their postcards always have shots like this.

Giraffe having lunch in the urban jungle.

Good thing today is not Christmas, if not you will be in an oven somewhere.

I love owls, especially Barn Owls. I reckon they are the same ones in Harry Potter movies.

It's time to say goodbye after a long and warm Boxing Day.
We took the train back and kept laughing at this spot.
Imagine the look on your date's face when they realise the location of the rendezvous point.
Or rendezvous is a fancier word for smoking. So you can look forward to hear all the smokers at your office going for their 5min rendezvous downstairs, every now and then.
