Being in Sydney for almost 1.5yrs, this is the first time that we've heard and been to Ginger & Spice.

Hainanese chicken rice with grated ginger and chilli sauce! The meat and rice was nice, but the chilli sauce is a far cry from the real stuff.

Assam fish. It was average, could be better with more condiments insides like eggplant and tofu.

My absolute craving, fried hokkien prawn mee! The stock was full of prawn flavour, and would be better if it has more well rounded meat note to it too.

Didn't taste like my favourtite stall at Chomp Chomp, but close enough.

This was the first time for Cat (who is Shanghainese) to try our local delicacy.

We kept smiling as we savoured the food, as it brought back nice memories of dining back home.

As it was a Friday night and we came without a booking, the waitress made us eat pretty fast as the table was reserved for someone coming in 45mins time.

After the fulfilling dinner, we went for a stroll by the waters at Clifton Gardens.

There were many people, mostly Malays or Indonesians fishing at the wharf for yellowtail.

We thought we were at Bedok jetty for a moment, except that the weather here is 10 times better.

Eliss relived her childhood swinging high.

Cat and Jake having a great time too.
