Flew to Melbourne today for a 3 days business trip, which was full of drama even before touch down.
The plane couldn't land due to bad weather, and was circling in the sky for 15mins.
When it finally landed, they lost my luggage and my 26" monitor which was to be used for a demo at a client's place.
I went to the information counter with my check in tab, but she told me that the number was not in the system.
What the?!
She calmed me down and adviced that my stuff could be on the next flight, but she couldn't be certain.
What can I do? Wait, lor...
And boy! Was I glad that they came out on the carousal an hour later from the next flight.
I quickly rush to pick up the rented car and flew to my appointment, which was 53km away from the airport at Ringwood.
The demo went really well with the driving simulator. And yes, I had a chance to sit behind the wheel and "drove" a Lamborghini Gallardo in the bucket seat with surround sound.
If you are interested to get one of these to be placed at your living room, drop me a message and I'll pass you the the contacts.
After a hard day work, I had dinner with Ryce and Melvin over at Footscray.
The pho here was superb and very generous with the meat. I still had plenty left even though the rice noodles were almost finish. That's what I call good food portioning.
So nice to finally check into the hotel after almost driving 100km in a day, visiting key clients.
I'm smarter this time round, ensuring that I get a big bed in a non smoking room.
Yawn...
Good night, guys. Will update more tomorrow.
