Imagine waking up to this view every morning.

I was still half asleep when the sunlight pierced into my eyes. When I saw orange sun, I quickly ran to the window and captured this moment.

After driving almost 25km from the last appointment, I reached the airport on schedule this time, so didn't have to run to to board the plane like all the other occasions.

But look at the number of people waiting to go in! Good thing the departure hall was the nearest this time round.

Goodbye Melbourne, hello Sydney. The flight got delayed 10mins due to unknown reasons.

After touch down, I was really afraid that my luggage will be lost again, and thank God it didn't.

The taxi queue at Terminal 3 was just ridiculous. I walked across the car park and got on a cab at the Virgin Blue terminal within 10mins.

The cabbie was a grumpy Italian old man. He didn't know why Croydon was, so I just asked him to go via Marrickville, the usual route I take.

Half way through, he got lost. He asked me for directions, and as it was dark, I asked him to turn the wrong way.

He started grumbling and said I should have just listened to him, instead of telling him to go the wrong way. Blah blah...

I was like, you are the cabbie, to get me to the destination is your job. You don't insult your customer about telling you the wrong way. You should be happy as you'll earn a few bucks more anyway.

I got fed up and turned on my GPS and guided him home.

If he was not as old, I would have given him a piece of my mind. I had a long day, and you have a simple job of just driving me home. Conversation is optional, thank you.

I was pretty pissed and happy that I finally got off the cab. No wonder I hate cabbies. They are rude and are road hazards. Sheesh.
