I tried something new this morning, instant Vietnamese Pho. And it was made with Japanese technology.

So impressive.

In the evening, we went to have hot pot at a new place. The table here is very low as well, and our thighs keep touching the base of the tabletop.

Because it's buffet, we just ordered whatever we like. The table had hardly any place for other stuff.

Oh, Happy Dragon Boat Festival! I didn't even know till someone mentioned to me earlier.

What the heck is a SF&VE ball?

Both of us are happy with the menu and the crowd.

Kendy busy serving all of us with the meat. Thanks, ar!

Michelle and her housemate Vivian came along too.

Channey chummy with Jess.

Ben looked confused with Frank's gesture.

Raymond, Cat and Jake.

Check out the thing we found on the vege! Good thing it was not tossed into the soup.

Oh, they served us complimentary rice dumplings! Cool, except this is the sweet version. I like the savoury ones with meat, mushroom and other goodies as the fillings.

After that adventurous meal, some of us went to catch THE ultimate chick flick of chick flicks at Broadway.

I was reluctant at first, thinking the money will be better spent on the new Batman or something.

Oh, what the heck! Since I enjoyed the original HBO tv series, the movies can't be that bad if the Gold Class has been booked out for the next 5 weeks.

Before the movie starts, I expected to see the heaps of ads. But I didn't expect all the ads were targeted at women only.

I hoped I made the right choice.

The movie was pretty long, about 150 minutes of it in fact.

From a guy's perspective, this report is not being fair to "blokeship".

Not that I totally dig the movie, I just realise that there are some similarities between female friendship and male mateship.

When a bunch of guys go out, we don't just check out the chicks at the other table, we actually talk too. Yup, and it's not just about cars and sports.

We share about relationship issues too. We talk about how to get along with the ladies of our life, and the kind of problems we face. But it's not a kiss and tell session.

Depending on the level of commitment we are at the moment, ie single, dating or married, we share experiences and encourage one another.

I reckon men are materialistic as well, and are concerned about looking good as well. In fact, I find there is a lack of literature on style for men. If you go to Borders, you will probably see GQ or Esquire. And the rest will be the FHM, Ralph and you know what.

Unless of course you go flip the gay mags.

I actually enjoy women magazine. I don't think I'm sissy or whatever, I just want to stay relevant to the female counterparts.

Well, I least I know how to say Christian Lacroix correctly (pronounced "La-kwa" ), a la French.
