We had our new service at the new venue today.
A lot of blood and sweat was shed to turn this dream into a reality. It was an emotional day for those who were part of the team who turned this vacant premise into a house of God.
Many weekends were burnt as we helped to fix up the chairs, paint the walls, buy furniture, etc. In the process, we got to know one another a little bit better.
You also got to know who are the ones you can trust, and those that are only good with lip service.
Talk is cheap, my friend.
Many new people came and it was fantastic to see the everyone enjoying themselves here.
We only had our first water baptism service this year.
Baptism is a very significant event as it symbolizes the cleansing of sins, and the union of the believer with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection so that he may be called "saved" or "born again."
And look at the number of supporters we have!
Instead of the usual Maroubra Beach, we headed North this time to Balmoral Beach.
I gotta say the houses here are just gorgeous. I want to live at Mosman when I can afford one of the fine residences here.
Kudos of braving the chilling waters. I ws freezing just standing on the beach taking photos.
Congratulations to Michelle, Nathan and Kitty! You guys have showed a lot of courage by taking the plunge, literally.
