It's been a long time since we went to have a cafe brunch. Come to think of it, we are having more Chinese food than ang mo ones, even though we are living in Australia.
My big brekky.
Eliss's Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon.
We went to Newtown to window shop in the arvo. We like this suburb a lot and would love to buy a property around here when the time is ripe.
The weather was rather warm, so we were hiding in the air conditioned shops most of the time.
This place was recommended by an Irish friend of mine. He is a total caffeine addict. He would skimp on lunch to have his 3 cups of coffee daily.
He was raving how the fresh coffee aroma of this place made him really happy whenever he pops in.
And the coffee here is the best in Sydney.
They have an interesting way of taking orders, by using dices. The different numbers on the dice indicate the differntiate the orders. Cool!
I had a ice cold one to cool down the heat within. The coffee was really strong, not the types you find at Gloria Jeans.
In the evening, we went to our favourite Japanese place at Kings Cross with Candice.
Their colleague, Katie was throwing a party in a club upstairs, so it'll be most convenient to drop in later.
The die-die cannot miss sukiyaki is a must have here.
Okonomiyaki is great with the generous amount of mayo drizzled on top.
A meat stew in miso. Beautiful dish.
That's our birthday girl, Katie in the middle.
The club looks pretty upmarket, but the choice of music could be better.
I looked a little stoned from that 1 glass of Carlton Draught.
No lah, I'm just tired from the lack of sleep the night before.
