The Sydney Festival kicks off tonight and there will be many free events happening all over the CBD. Don't forget to bring along your digicam as you stand a chance to win a $1200 camera or voucher in the photography competition!
I'm particularly interest in the Gypsy Queens and Kings - Festival Jazz happening next Sat at the Domain. Both of us love bossa nova, so it'll be an enjoyable night to listen to it live under the stars.
Eliss prepared a gourmet feast tonight. For starters, we had prosciutto with honeydew, a traditional Italian antipasto.
For the mains, we had oven roasted chicken filet mignon wrapped in bacon, with a salad of pear, avocado and shaved Parmesan cheese.
For the sides, we have chilled tiger prawns with cocktail sauce.
More exciting stuff happening in 2009!
I so want to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is premiering in the US on 1 May. I wonder when it'll reach Australia. Hopefully it's faster than usual since it's starring their Hugh Jackman.
