A sunny day at last. It's been raining for the past 48hrs or so, bringing the temperature down to a comfortable 22 degrees.
Just realise why I can't connect online at home for the past few nights. The line has been cut off! So I can't make any outgoing nor receive any incoming call. At least still have mobile phone to use.
Went to UQ Sports today to deflate the balls to bring back... 1 soccer, 1 rugby and 1 basketball. So poor until I don't have a needle at home and have to walk so far to do it.
Collected my air ticket. Phew! Finally can fly back home in another 8 days. Feel so lonely here.
Got a reply from MediaCorp HR Manager that there is vacancy at other Strategic Business Units (SBU) ie MediaCorp Tv and Radio. I told her initially that I can only start work beginning of Mar as I want to have a 2 weeks break to visit places. However, after reading the email, I just told her that I can start on the 17/2.
Hope to find a job soon, a good job. I believe in miracles. If I can work there with a Diploma in Hotel Management, how can I not find a job there with a Bachelor of Business Management? I miss those days at the staff canteen when you can eat with the so called stars like Tay Ping Hui just an arm's length away from you.
During those days, I've had Cheryl Fox queueing in front of me ordering mixed vege rice, Fiona Xie at the next table chatting with her colleagues, share toilet with Jack Neo, Vincent Ng saying hi to you, sharing the same lift with Chen Liyi of 93.3FM and meeting the finalists of the Miss Singapore... Once in a while can pop by to Perfect 10 studio during lunch time and see Carrie Chong hosting the show or drop by CNA and watch Glenda anchoring the news.
It was pure fun.
Bought a TNT Student Pak. Cost me $163.50 for 25kg. Not bad for a door to door service and from a reputated company as well. A lot of people suggested Jetta, but it works out to be not much cheaper and it is a door to airport service. So troublesome for a non car owner. I have to specially make another trip to the airport just to collect the parcel as I only arrive in Singapore at 7.25pm.
Well, at least most of the work has been done. Just need to transfer the items into the Pak and make sure it doesn't weigh more than 25kg.
SWOTVAC is so boring, have a lot of time to study but most of the time are spent on other issues. Even if I've nothing much to do, also don't have much mood to study in the day. Only works better at night. Covered almost half of e commerce last night. OB will be the one to study tonight.
Was contemplating of alterning my website assignment. As it was posted online, I can manupulate the links as some of it doesn't appear. but I'll risk if the tutor has already marked mine and realise the changes. Better don't take the risk. Integrity is at stake. Final sem already. The strange thing is the webpage appears alright when I log in using my school account. But I view it from my laptop somewhere else, there are a lot of broken links. I hope the marker will see the previous, and not the latter.
Ate fried beehoon with Jap curry and chicken wings. Feel like eating char siew today. But with what? Noodles or rice?
