Another week has ended, and an especially quick one too.

All the media hype about Matrix Reloaded is getting out of hand. The image of the green digitised words cascading down the black screen is appearing virtually on every media imaginable. Movies tickets are sold out at box offices and people are still lining up to buy their seats to catch a glimspe of Neo (reverse of the One) saving the world from the Matrix.

Being a marketing graduate and gadget geek, it's obvious that Matrix Reloaded jumped on the bandwagon again for product placement. I bet most of you guys will still remember the Nokia (banana phone) that was featured in the prequal. Now Samsung took this opportunity and lauched its SPH-N270, with cool looks to beat. In its normal position, a slide concels the screen, while the squarish, glassy buttons are a throwback to earlier mobiles. The phone extends to reveal a 65,000-color TFT display, with a opening mechanism seemingly inspired by a hydraulic pump. The phone also comes with 40-chord polyphonic capabilities. Korean technology at its best.

Responding to the Step Out Singapore campaign, I patronaged Sentosa, as well as having cell group there. Weather was better this time and was quite good. You can view the pics at the "More Photos" link. Being there reminded Eliss and myself days down at the Coast. With endless stretch of white sand and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, our Palawang and Siloso beach are dwarfed to mere sandpits by the monsoon drain. But that's the best we got to get away from the concrete jungle and the hustle and bustle of urban stressful lifestyle. There was quite a crowd there, mostly young girls in their bikinis and guys in their boardies, hitting some beach volley.

Been looking for a sling bag for quite a while for work, but can't seem to be able to find a suitable one. Even the very hip Zara has limited designs to choose from. I'm looking for something that is made from soft leather, or fabric. Medium size, enough to put my magazines and sales kit. Chic and not too formal. Difficult, eh?

The belt is rather nice, though...not priced too steeply as well. And all Spanish made.

Real Madrid, why have you forsaken me?

Retro is still in. The Singaporean and I believe Aussie are still into old school style Adidas Superstars. The Trefoil designs still commands a very premium price, as compared to the Equipment logo.

I like Air Force 1 better. Especially the HTM series released in Europe. The construction is incredible and the leather is far more superior than the "regular" series. Comes in a unique HTM box with HTM paper too.

Have you measured your temperature today? I did!
