A lowdown on what happened last week.

My Sunday morning was greeted by the Justice League on Kids Central. Brought back a lot of childhood memories.

Superman was born in the Depression era. He exerted an instant, universal appeal which has spanned the decades undiminished. In an age painfully short of heroes and desperately in need of them, Superman came at the right time to lift the spirits of the Americans with his super human strength. You should also check out Smallville on Ch 5, I think it's one of the better shows.

Went to pick up Eliss at Aljunied and went together for a sumptous dinner at the famous Holland Village XO Fish Head Bee Hoon. The broth is delightfully rich from the fish bones that has been painstakingly simmered by the boss. The large chunks of fresh fish that comes with it are cooked to perfection and is naturally sweet. The bee hoon is al dente and has a hint of hua diao jiu. The piece de resistence must be the generous splash of XO on top of the big bowl of gastronomical delight. Simply heavenly.

The spicy pepper crab is also not to be ignored. Juicy Sri Lankan crabs are deep fried first to seal the flavours in, before being thrown back to the pepper sauce. They are tossed around to absorb the flavours in. The natural juices of the crab mixed with the pepper sauce made an explosive concoction that just danced in my mouth in harmony.

Service on last Friday was once of the best I attended this year. The atmosphere was simply electric and the Holy Spirit just flowed as we clapped and cheered for the blessings that have yet to come. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. I'm sure He is very please that night.

I reqested for a brochure from Jean Yip Academy...checking out the price for the courses. Will call Toni & Guy as well. I've found someone who is wiling to be my mentor for photography. He is a professional photographer that I got to know. I really like his work, so I hope things will work out.

Still remember this bugger?
