Just came back from a company retreat at Leisure Farm Resort, well entirely a retreat. There were a lot of activities to build teamwork and to encourage creativity. We played water polo, buit mini projects... looks like what I study in OB last time was brought to life.
A lot of issues pertaining to career advancement, outstanding issues, etc. It was really an open environment to share and question our doubts with the managers and regional people.
My neck and back felt much better. Thanks to my dear who gave me a good rub and her TLC.
Went to meet up with C and S at Chomp Chomp for a sumptous dinner. It's been a while since we last chatted, now that they are back, we'll have more chances to do so. Talked about the usual uncertain economy and job situations right now. Then we ended the evening having coffee at Killiney Kopitiam and talking about our big dreams of being our own boss one day. Ideas just flowed and we had a few good laugh. There are still countless opportunities but are we willing to take the risk to do it?
China's Sichuan Airlines purchased the rights to the number, 8888 8888 for 2.33 million yuan (US$280, 000), at a special auction on Monday in the southwestern province of Sichuan. Wow!
