Quite late now, but just feel like doing some writing to summarise my week.
Just realised that my working shoe's sole has came off and beyond repair. Gotta look for a new pair later.
I like Aquila, an Australian shoe maker based in Melbourne. I like the Paragon, the one without the laces... classy and not snobbish.
Visited Ah Ma with Eliss in the afternoon. Bought her some pastries and a roast duck drumbstick. Can see that she really enjoy her food. We chatted over a cup of Iron Buddha about everything.
Went back home for dinner, as Fe cooked chilli crab and stew pork ribs. Too good to be missed!
Sat on swing with Eliss at the backyard and enjoyed the evening breeze. We took photos of one another and had lots of laugh. It's been a while since we did that. There were new plants at the garden. A few pots of flowers never seen before and a papaya tree growing. The sky was light blue with lots of fluffy clouds.
When was the last time you stopped and just enjoy the natural scenary?
Had supper with some cell members at Jln Kayu. Ordered a plate of mee goreng and Dinosaur. In case you don't know what it is, it's ice milo, top with two big spoonful of milo powder. Extremely potent, I reckon it can give you nose bleed if you gulp down a few glasees in a row. We had a good time and left the place about 1.30am.
Was in JB on Thursday to look for my FIFA 2004, but it's not out yet. So disappointing. Heard from one of the vcd vendors that if they are caught with pirated vcds, they will be fine RM10000 and all vds will be confiscated. That's really high risk and no wonder they are so careful. But seriously, how can piracy be stopped? The law of demand and supply will prevail.
Went to try the much hyped Ding Tai Fung with Eliss. New York Times named it as one of the world's ten best restaurants in '93. The restaurant started out more than 40 years ago as a street stall selling steamed dumplings. A glassed in kitchen affords a view of the chef making hand-made noodles. Queue was long and we had to take a number and wait to be called, like a polyclinic. We waited for about 30mins or so.
Food was prompt to be served. I would say that the dumplings are really fresh and juicy. Broths used to cooked the soup tasted sweet and natural.
Currently 3rd on the La Liga. Go Real! You can be the top!
