D Day.
Today is a rush rush day. ETD is 8.30pm.
Eliss came back about 11.30am from the you cha kuey stall. She got choir practice at 12.30pm.
How rush is that? And I got Bible study at 2.30pm. So we decide to leave together.
While she went for her practice, I decided to go Tampines Mall to jalan jalan. It's been ages since I went there.
Came back for BS and later joint service at 5pm.
Pastor Kong preached a very good message, we have no choice but to run at 7pm to check in at 7.30pm at T1. Dad came to pick us up at Expo.
Ready for check in.
Looking pretty in her new pink jacket.
Thank God the queue was not too long, so we proceed to the Staff Canteen 1. I thought this place was long gone, but I was wrong.
Most of the stalls closed at 8pm, so we were left with ban mian, mee goreng and fish soup.
Both of mobile kept ringing, as friends called for our location. It was nice, but kinda frustrating because we were pressed for time and we had to eat really fast.
CG members and friends to send her off. Eliss shooked their hands like a politician meeting her delegates.
Calvin was so nice to come alone to send her off.
The girls from ex CG came to bid farewell.
Caleb and Suling can't bear to see her go.
Time check 8.27pm. Time to go in. N192 smile!
I gave her a big hug, knowing that I will miss her dearly. She will be alone in a foreign country, and I'll be alone in this big apartment. The thought of it is saddening.
Times seemed to fly super fast at the airport. 2 hours just disappeared. She has cleared the custom and is walking towards gate C18.
I didn't feel like talking to the rest of the guys and left with my parents in their car.
I called Eliss for the very last time just before the plane took off.
The house was dark and cold when I walked in. Same house, but feel so different. When Eliss is around, there will be lights and TV sounds. She will be chatting with me or getting me a cold drink, because I always forget to drink more water.
The bed felt different without her beside to listen to me talk just before we doze off.
This will be a time of adjustment.
