My dearest Eliss will be flying off to Sydney to pursue her new job as a Corporate Communication Executive. This job requires her to be based there permanently, but she will be back in Singapore in 3 months time to settle some stuff.
After a full day meeting at work, Eliss's poly kakis wanted to do dinner to celebrate her departure to Down Under.

We met at Pearl River Restaurant at Suntec City for a la carte buffet dinner.

The quality is pretty good, except the deep fried soon hock (marble goby) was a little disappointing.

Eliss said this is her first "lou hei", so she is very excited. Today's my 3rd.

We were so full!
Anyway, we had a good time catching up, paying silly games and talked about a friend who is getting married soon. But many of them are not able to make it.

Oops.

After dinner, had to rush down to Clarke Quay to meet up with fellow cell members. They had been waiting for us since dinner time.
When we reach there, the road was jam because of MOS (not the burger place, but I'm sure the "meat" on the dance floor will feel like one). Cars jus parked along the double yellow as if the government painted for fun.
Hooray for the TP, big fat bonus this year!
Finally reach Crazy Elephant Cafe. Phew! Before that, we have to squeeze past the clubbers who have been snaking out the water hole since dunno what time. Some were dressed to kill, some were killed themselves with their dressing.
As we were chatting happily, Caleb surprised Eliss with a black box. He had earlier presented her with a customised mug, so could be these be the saucer? Or a tea pot?

You should have seen Eliss's expression as she tore the gift wrap layer by layer with anticipation...

What is inside???

It's an Apple iSight! A web came that enable us to do video conferencing over our Macs.
How cool is that? I initially wanted to get for her, but we reckon it was too ex. So Caleb decided to bless her as a token from the cell group.

We felt so blessed! Thanks a lot, guys!
Now we can see each other daily, and listen to each other's voice.
When we reached home, we quickly took out the iSight and hooked it up to her iBook and troubleshoot.
We tried with different angles and lighting. It's pretty easy to set up actually, we just want everything to be perfect.
But, it'll never be the same with her beside me.
