I accomplished some big things today. So proud of it.

I bought a bank draft which wiped out my entire life saving. Going to do some low risk investment in Sydney to let the money work harder.

Went to Mustafa to change some Aussie Dollars, as I heard that the bank draft may take up to a week to clear.

Still need to go Hougang to buy Neutrogena facial wash, as they are not available in Sydney.

And also to visit my Ah Ma (maternal grandmother), whom I have not met for the whole of this year.

Weiyi and Cat are so sweet to organise this gathering for me. They initially wanted to have Japanese, but I thought Sydney would have plenty. So I suggested Thai or Indonesian, and we settled for Indonesian.

RZ is totally into his remote controlled aircraft. We had a big joke about his plane sucked into the engine of the plane that I will be on. He wanted to fly a banner on his plane to bid me goodbye at the airport.

Imagine the thin red lines from the snipers all over his body if he really did that.

Tracy and Nicole made time to join in too. We had a great time joking that we all want to be office boys or girls in Sydney with a $18/hr salary.

Alison came in a bit later. She wanted to take a group shot of us, but her Canon was flat totally. Sigh.

Another round of Ayam Penyak (crushed chicken). I reckon the Lucky Plaza outlet is better than the Beach Road's. The chicken is juicer and the chendol (dessert drink made of coconut milk, gula melaka and green jelly) is out of this world!
