Heard so much about Strathfield being a Korean suburb, so I went to take a look in the afternoon.

I wonder if anyone took too long to do one of the steps and cause a major traffic jam.

Strathfield has been home to Prime Ministers (George Reid, Billy Hughes and Frank Forde), NSW Premier James McGirr, Test cricketers (Bob Simpson and Alan Davidson) and singer/songwriters who were later to become international pop-stars (The BeeGees).

So, you know where to go look for your next dream home if you want your kids to be part of the elite list.

Accorinding to Fairfield City Council, Cabramatta is an explosion of Asian culture and colour. In fact, Cabramatta is more renowned for its severe crime problems, the most notable of these being the distribution of drug-dealing.

Much of the drug-dealing is reported to be done by juveniles of predominantly Asian origin. Many drug addicts were drawn to this area and a train stopping at Cabramatta Station was known as the "smack express" to these addicts.

Cabramatta is also remembered for the political murder of a NSW State MP, John Newman, outside his Cabramatta home in September, 1994. This was Australia's first ever political assassination and thus this assassination drew much attention and alarm.

A local nightclub owner and political rival, Phuong Ngo, was convicted of the murder in 2001 and sentenced to life imprisonment.

In summary, City Rail want us to pay for their mistake. What the?

Am I at Chung Pang City in Yishun now? I could still vividly recall my days doing guard duty and we go there to get supper.

The main shopping street reminded me of our "heartland" malls like Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh Central, man.

Looks like some big time Vietnamese group is coming down to perform. Watch out, Kylie!

$16 for a tiny box of rambutan? I can buy a durian with that price.

It seems that Asians here are only doing 2 kind of business - grocery and restaurant. Why?
