Today was the first time that we prepared refreshment for the church.

Eliss helped me get ready the ingredients for the Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee, which cannot be found in Sydney (so far).

Cooking for 50 pax with limited equipment was not easy, so I had to cook many rounds to fill up the 2 buckets.

It was a crowd pleaser, especially to the Koreans who had never seen and tasted anything like this before.

Many of them came up and even requested to take away. This was really flattering.

Eliss bought me a Venus Flytrap today at the Glebe Market! So exciting!

This was something that I always wanted since I was a kid. It's so fascinating how a plant can be carnivorous.

The edges of the lobes are fringed by cilia to prevent prey items from escaping, while the inside has red pigmentation to attract insects.

This is so cool! Less houseflies will come and "kiss" me on the lips for the upcoming summer.

Another beautiful Sunday evening to remember.
