Took a train to the western part of town to explore around since I was having my day off.

Parramatta was derived from Dharug Baramada, meaning "the place where the eels lie down", as the Parramatta River is a gathering place for native species of eel.

I didn't know the place was at first named The Crescent, then Rose Hill before changing to its current name until now.

Now I know why this NRL side are called the Eels!

I was greeted by an accident between an ambulance and a trailer. A lot of commotion in the streets, and how often do you witness a scene like this?

A close up shot.

The name of this cafe looked very similar to the one of the chain we have back in Singapore, don't you think?

I didn't know that the Chinese restaurant also do R&D on their pigs before making char siew out of them.

The Riverside Walk has an Aboriginal painted pathway along the river. The weather was so nice, so I just sat on one of the benches and stoned.

Seagulls hunting for unagi (grilled eels).

I went down to take a closer look at the river. There were quite a lot of bird shit on the ground and grass, so had to play mine sweeper cautiously.

I say, quite a nice view under the shadow of the bridge above me, ya?

I just love this effect when the shutter speed is slowed down.

A Falun Dafa practitioner tying up banners at the gate of St John Cathedral! This is too much, man!

We got a visitor! Caleb was in town so we took this chance to bring him to our favourite BBQ City for a late dinner.

Eliss oiling the hot plate with the streaky pork. The smell of hot lard...

We were so full after finishing all these.

Since we couldn't sleep, we took him to see the nightlife of Kings Cross and Oxford Street.

We were trying to guess which couples were straight and which ones were gay along the way. He got pretty good after a while.
