The Australian Open commenced today as the first of the world's 4 Grand Slam tournaments at Melbourne Park, right in the middle of summer.

Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova have got to be my favourite players on the courts. It will be so cool to watch them in action "live" in Melbourne.

Since we are talking about hot stuff, Eliss had a craving for laksa tonight, so this was what she got to have for dinner! Homemade by her hubby!

And for those who are in Singapore now, and feel like having some assam laksa in KL, fret not!

Transport Minister Raymond Lim said that the if the US$2.3b bullet train project happens, it will enable the 350km journey between KL and Singapore to be cut to just 90min, compared to the 7h journey on the current rail service.

Wah, can go and eat my favourite black hokkien mee for lunch, shop at FOS for A&F stuff, and can still come back to have dinner at Chomp Chomp.

Of course if I'm in Singapore at that time lar.

Yen was very kind as she agreed to teach me Adobe Photoshop. We began the first lesson of last night and it was so insightful.

She is a graphic designer by training so she was very fast in doing those image manipulation.

Biggest lesson I learnt: Take a good photo in the first place, and save the hassle of spending heaps of time to touch up. It's very very time consuming indeed!
