Overseas Singaporeans got a taste of home at the inaugural "Singapore Day" event held in New York over the weekend.

The event in Central Park showcased the latest developments in Singapore and featured the island's food and entertainment scenes.

Hey, when are the Sydneysiders going to have one of these? We can do it at Hyde Park, where they also hold the Mardi Gras annually.

24-year-old Jessica Tan has been crowned Miss Singapore Universe, and will represent Singapore at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City in May.

Another flight stewardess beauty queen. Bleah!

So if anyone of you had watched the pageant on tv, do share any gossips that went on. There must be some utterly silly answers that came out from their mouth.

Weekend was spent working, as usual. I'm really looking forward to my off day tomorrow as I have not had one for the last 7 days.

And Anzac Day is the day after, so I can rest for another day.

We'll be going to the Blue Mountains for yet another road trip, so stay tuned for the pictures!
