Congrats to Izaeel on her ROM! We were still in Sydney when it happened.
Managed to meet her up for lunch at Hougang, where she is working now.
She'll also be living with her husband in Australia next year!
But in sunny Brisbane, though.
We got to know her during uni days, and so many interesting things happened then.
Eliss wanted to try Soup Kitchen as she has heard a lot about their Samsui Chicken.
After tasting it, she wasn't impressed. "Not much difference from Delicious Restaurant in Sydney", she said.
We went back home to rest after visiting my grandmother, and was amazed by the city skyline visible from the corridor.
As my sister will be leaving away for London to work (again), my Dad suggested buffet dinner at Miramar Hotel.
This is the main reason that kept him coming back. Chilli Crabs!
We were so kiasu (not to lose out), whenever the chef take out this dish from the kitchen, we would rush and snatched the good parts before everything ran out!
And soon enough, chilli prawns were served instead. I reckon we will be blacklisted from the hotel really soon.
After dinner, Eliss and I went to stroll around the updated Clarke Quay.
That place had changed a lot, man. Couldn't recognise it anymore. It's more hip, and the F&B establishments are pretty interesting as well.
Oh, Chow Yun Fatt says, "Welcome to Singapore".
