Bar Chor Mee. Mee Poh (asian version of fettuccine) with minced pork, fish cake and mushroom.

Wu Xiang. Deep fried prawn fritters, fish balls, ngor hiang, accompanied by chilli peanut dip.

Fish Ball Kway Teow. Rice noodles, served with extra large fish balls and sambal chilli sauce.

After a more than fulfilling lunch, we headed to Far East Plaza to get a brand new look.

I went to my regular stylist and he created something refreshing for me.

So, what do you think of my new style?

I was immersed into a world of toys at the basement of Takashimaya. All my childhood heroes like Transformers and Spiderman are all there. So wanted to buy a few action figures to add to my collection.

I sold quite a fair bit of my He-Man action figures before I came to Australia and made some money over Yahoo Auctions to cover some of my utility bills.

Not bad, eh?

Some booth heads were busking outside Wisma Atria. Cyber cool.

After a day of pampering at Orchard Road, we headed back to Eliss's place for some wholesome home cooked meal. All my favourites were there!

After dinner, we went over to Loof and hang out with Sita and Chandler.

The place is really nice and the ice cold mojito was perfect in the evening heat.

While chatting, we heard about St James Power Station.

Built in 1927, it was Singapore's first coal-fired power plant supplying electricity to nearby shipyards, industry and residences.

It was refurbished and opened as Singapore's largest entertainment complex at a cost of approximately S$40 million.

It has 10 clubs within, catering to all music tastes.

* Dragonfly, specializing in Mandopop
* Mono, a karaoke bar with individual rooms
* Movida, showcasing music from all around the world
* Bellini Room, a jazz destination
* Gallery Bar, a bar lounge
* Peppermint Park, an outdoor bar
* The Boiler Room, for rock, R&B and pop
* The Lobby Bar, screening sports matches
* Powerhouse, the largest outlet catering to the young crowd
* TigerLIVE, Southeast Asia's premier multi-sensory brand entertainment centre

Getting cozy with my dearest inside the club.

Will having a mug of beer get me into trouble with the police?

Chandler was busy pouring me green tea with Chivas the whole night. Thanks!

The trip has been really interesting. I didn't expect the crowd to be of err... more mature than usual. Most of them are at least in their 30s or 40s.

But it is a smart move of Maple Tree (owned by Temasek Holdings) to cater to this untapped market.

We were hungry and was looking for some food to eat.

We are so disappointed that the nearest 7-11 is closed! What about the never close policy?

In the end, we over to Chinatown to grab some hot porridge. Yum!

We also ordered a big plate of sashimi to share. It costs only $5.

Raw fish slices were drizzled with sesame oil and light soy sauce and tossed with ginger slices to kill any fishy smell. Delightful!
