So I cooked a special dinner for Eliss tonight, grilled monkfish with pasta and rocket salad.
Monkfish has a nickname "poor man's lobster" because of its texture. They are pretty hard to find here, so we were very fortunate to get this at Balmain.

The fish itself looks pretty scary, click on the picture to see people responses to it when they saw it for the first time.
After the prayer at the church office, we headed to Bondi to watch the fireworks.
As we arrived, the place was blocked off by the police, so we just drove aimlessly to find an alternative venue.
We ended up at Watsons Bay, after noticing a lot of people congregate at that area.
We pulled over, and I had 10 mins to set up the tripod and camera, before the sky lit up with fire flowers.
It was beautiful. I'm envious of the residents there with this million dollar view greeting them everyday.
I've been reading up on my 07 entries, and it's great to see that we had so much fun.
2007 has been a challenging year, and that made me a stronger person. It had been a year of miracles, and one of the biggest that we are still here in Sydney at this time when I blog this.
2008 will be a better year for sure. I want to come back to this entry come end of the year to see how much we have achieved what we aimed for.
Some of the things to achieve in 2008

To rise up and serve more in church. God help me, please.

Get that PR sticker on my passport. That'll be sweet.

Own a red Golf GTI, with seats wrapped in latte macchiato leather. Yum!

Visit a country that we never went before. Taiwan, China maybe?
Thanks for coming in regularly to find out what's happening in my life for the past year. I promise to do a better job in 08, so look forward to have you.
