It was just a long day today, but had been really cool.
Although this is my second day of work, I had to man the ViewSonic booth at the trade fair at Darling Harbour from 4pm to 8pm.
Being green and all, I had to pretend to be some kind of expert who knows the products like the back of my hand.
The best part of the of the fair must have been the food and drink that were served by the waiters walking around. How cool!
There were many choices of beef and chicken kebab, Vietnamese rice paper roll, fried Hokkien noodles, deep fried sotong balls, vermicelli salad, meat pies and a few more I can't remember.
Unlike the IT fairs in Singapore, I only saw 2 IT babes, who were both blond.
Back at home, there are so many more and you can still win some prizes by voting the best one.
Talking about IT stuff, I read this article that this Malaysian guy who got extorted by a girl he chatted up online.
This guy, who got a bit high after a drinking session started to chat with this girl, Jean.
After more than an hour into the conversation, she sent a picture of herself to me and asked him to strip to his underwear.
Well, he did that and she took pictures of him through the computer webcam.
The next morning, he received an threatening SMS from her to bank RM1,800 into a her account, or she would upload the files.
She is smart, sia! I've only heard of girls ending up as victims in such situations, not the guy!
So he paid her to cover this up, but she still got the images uploaded. Haha!
Loser.
