I went to Temasek after a good friend recommended it. It has pretty good reviews from the above website, you feel free to have a look.

First of all, I find the deco of the place quite tacky, and doesn't justify for the high price on the menu.

I ordered the $13.90 Hokkien Fried Prawn Mee, which tasted pretty good. Minus points for the lemon, which should be a lime and the lack of spring onion and sambal chilli as accompaniment.

It would have been better if it came with strips of pork belly too.

My makan kaki had the Har Mee. The stock was really sweet and had a strong top note of prawn.

Would have been better if it came with paprika powder to sprinkle on. The freshness of the prawns could be better, and the texture fish cake could be more q.

This kacap manis sotong is more Indonesian, than Singaporean. Delicious dish, though.

The calamari rings are first deep fried, their stir through the thick and spicy sweet soy paste.

The humble ice kachang lost is Technicolor dream coat at this Parramatta restaurant. Gone were also the sinfully rich condensed milk.

Well, I would probably not go back to this place again. Not because the food is no good, but I didn't enjoy the whole dining experience. I find that the food is overpriced as the bill came up to $48 and the ambiance was not very inviting.
