I went to world's biggest computer expo at Darling Harbour today with a colleague.
Oh, and I saw Alice there too, who was working with the media team. Good on ya!
One of the coolest, and I mean literally was a high-end NRG computer, built with a Gigabyte 3D Galaxy II watercooling kit filled with something that looks suspiciously similar to blue Gatorade.
At another corner, the one of the techs was over clocking the processor and was pouring liquid nitrogen into a tube on top of the CPU.
The temperature went to about -200C. How cool is that?
Been there, done that and took a photo, but forgot where you took it?
Ricoh came up with this camera that comes fitted with GPS that records geographical coordinates when each picture is taken, so the locations can be identified and the images laid onto a map.
This is one of the best POS display I've seen here. This Panasonic Toughbook display simulated a thunderstorm every time someone pressed the button, dousing the rugged laptop with water amidst flashing lights and sounds of thunder.
Really clever.
Met up with Eliss for a quick dinner before the indoor soccer tournament. She couldn't watch me play because she got dance class in the city.
Prepping for the big game. Yeah, I'm wearing a Rex shirt because this game was organised by her company, so I'm playing with her colleagues today.
Our team is called T-Rex. Because we are strong and fierce! Not because we are extinct, ok?
After 30 minutes of non stop action, I managed to squeeze in a goal. Although we didn't win today, we'll do better the next time.
This is going to be a weekly event, so I'm really excited that I can finally play some decent soccer with a committed team.

See who can stare longer. As long as you don't do this at the office and get caught by your boss.
