Yup, today is the day after weeks of preparation.

I was in charge of designing the brochures and getting them listed on SHC website, where members can go and download to send to their friends.

We had the kids from Sunday school to do the opening for us.

They sang and danced, moving many hearts at the same time.

A performance well deserving for a standing ovation.

Tina and Channey acted fantastically in the drama about searching for life's purpose.

We did a spoof of Matrix, Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal to illustrate the point about making that important decision.

Ben acted as the devil, who tried to distract Tina from achieving the destiny of her life.

The whole performance was thought provoking, and hilarious at the same time.

The message was clear and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well done, guys! Especially for Tjivi for his inaugural performance on SHC stage.

Pst John gave a very light hearted sermon in the area of our perception of Jesus.

I don't know where he found the picture of an Asian Jesus.

And how about Hip Hop Jesus?

The truth of the matter is a lot of people have a very distorted image of God.

You need to go to a church to find out the Truth.

Eliss and I were the hosts of the games after the service.

We spent quite a bit of time researching for games that can have maximum participation, but minimum preparation.

One of the games is to make people drink water. Haha.

Each team of 4 will attempt to finish a 1.5l of water, and the fastest team is the winner.

It was so funny to see the kids struggling, as they probably drink more Coke than this.

After the Big Day, we went to an Italian restaurant around the area and feast ourselves silly.

The girls ordered so much food to share, and as usual, I was there to help them finish.

The sauce of this lamb dish was really unique as I tasted dill in it, which is more common for a seafood dish.

It was good nevertheless.

I had pasta, which I'm pretty sure it was cooked by an Asian chef as it's got spring onions in it.

And the fact that the restaurant owner and head chefs are Chinese as well.

Check out our couple t shirt! Can you tell me what is wrong with the pictures on our chests?

Tonight was history making for both Singapore and Formula 1 (F1) as it was the first time we host this event, and it was the very first that it was held at night.

The main reason for it to be held at night was not because of the infamous weather, but so that it could be broadcast live at a convenient time for European TV audiences.

An agreement for a 5 year deal was signed and Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) will sponsor the event.

The official name of the event is FORMULA 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, although the race was co-funded by the Government of Singapore, footing 60% of the total bill.

Paid by Singtel or government, no difference, lah. If you know what I mean.

Eliss and I were very excited to see the Singapore skyline on Australian tv. The whole road circuit was really impressive indeed.

Our eyes were glued to the very complicated looking steering wheels, trying to read the speed the car is travelling.

An F1 car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.7 seconds, average speed is around 290km/hr. That's lightning fast.

My Skyline needs at least 6.9 seconds, rarely going beyond 110km/hr, if I still want to keep my driving license.

Congrats to Fernando Alonso and Renault for your well deserved victory!

i experimented with dill recently and it actually goes quite well with grilled / boiled chicken too. when mixed with mustard seeds, honey and splashes of lemon, it serves as a refreshing dressing for salads as well.
