Met up with Denis for lunch at City Hall as his office is around there.

He was an ex colleague at Unilever and we shared similar in passion in marketing. I always remember that long chat we had in US by the pool.

The mee taibak laksa at Toast Box was pretty good, although chopsticks were not really necessary.

We had otah omelet in JB, and they have otah on toast. Not a bad idea actually.

Liewma came a bit later and introduced us to Red Star, a very famous yum cha place near Chinatown.

After that, we went to Bras Basah to see Pearl to make my new glasses. My current ones are 5 years old, so it's a good time to get my eyes checked too.

Good to hear that there are no changes, which is a miracle considering the amount of time I spent in front of the computer.

In the evening, we met up with Eliss's ex cell members at Bugis for dinner.

Local favourites like fish head curry, sambal kangkong with cuttle fish, fried hokkien prawn mee, pepper beef and fried chicken wings.

The ladies wanted to have some dessert, so we just walked a few shops down to Ah Chew.

I ordered a cup of coffee custard, and the colour and texture didn't look too inviting. The taste was good though.

Very fulfilling overall, another day of feasting!
