I've lost count the number of bowls of bar chor mee I had so far. When can I find a bowl of this in Sydney?
We shared a bowl of chu char tang (offals soup). My favourite bit are the flowered cut kidneys dipped in dark soy with red chili slices.
How about some fresh you tiao from mum-in-law's store? Priceless.
Dad-in-law had a bowl of laksa.
I reckon I got to know him more in this week then the years when I was still in Singapore. Maybe it's also because that he is more opened nowadays to share about his thoughts.
When Eliss and I were dating, I barely shared a few words with him. But this trip back has proved to be very different.
I bought the Bose® Lifestyle®18 Series II when we got married and moved to our new place. Barely used for half a year, we relocated to Sydney and left this in storage.
After almost 3 years of missing out of superior surround sound, I have to ship this back to Sydney.
To do that, we went back to our house in Serangoon and rip out the speakers from the walls and boxed this 30kg package... hard work for great sound. It's worth it.
Dot invited all of us to her place for some hot pot. And she got abalone, as requested. Yesh.
Check out the size of this thing!
Let's eat! Look at the spread on the table.
Not being a corn person, but this has got to be the sweetest ones I've ever tasted. Note the two coloured kernals.
Happy Birthday, Pearl!
This is Pearl's youngest daughter. Isn't she just adorable?
We stayed on till about 1am, and we have a plane to catch in a few hours time.
