I was really excited to watch the original Ultraman again after spending so many nights watching the "modern" series.
This is my first time watching the pilot episode since its debut in 1966. Now I know how Hayata was chosen to be the host of Ultraman and how the Beta Capsule comes about.
My dad used to record the shows on VCR and I would watch them all day long. I still remember that voice over to explain how Ultraman is losing a lot of engery in his gigantic form and if warning light stops, he will never rise again.
Sure the special effects then is nothing compared to what we have right now, but it's pretty good for the mid 60's production.

This is my favourite action figure, which is so badly scratched even though I tried to repaint it with a silver tip marker many times.
I don't know how much are they worth now after lying in the box for the past 20 years.
I'm still quite emotional as I watched the last episode where Ultraman died in battle. As a kid, it left a deep impression in me till now. I almost didn't want to watch this again, but did it anyway.
It's one of the scariest episode ever.
If you are a huge fan like me, this is the list of the entire Ultraman series ever produced.
Eliss and I just spent some quality time together in the evening.

After waking up from a nap, we watched the Star Wars animation.
It was pretty alright I think, even though Rotten Tomatoes gave it a really bad review. Plenty of action and lightsaber fights.
I'm glad Eliss like Star Wars as well. Not many girls do, so I'm happy that we share so much in common. As we watched the credit roll, Lucasfilm Animation Singapore was part of the team that made this.
Eliss knows someone working in there, so good on you! Make Singapore proud!
Even though dinner was some left over food, we had such a good time.
