We went to Royal National Park for some BBQ today although the weather was expected to have a few showers. Good thing we just went ahead.
It's located 29 km south of Sydney and the world's second oldest national park.
The oldest one is Yellowstone in the United States.

Without any jacket on a 21°C summer day, I jumped around on the beach like a kid to keep warm.

I combed the whole place looking for nice seashells, but not much luck.
The beach can be a dangerous place. I thought this is a great video as many of us will be heading there this summer.
Be really careful of rip currents as I got into one before and almost drowned. Good thing someone saw me from the beach and saved me in time.

Look at the feast sizzling on the barbie. We had chicken nuggets, steak, sausages and lamb ribs for lunch.

Here I am cutting up more of the aged King Island tenderloin, marinated gently with salt, pepper and chopped parsley to bring up the natural flavour of the beef.

We had a great time today. Thank you Cynthia for suggesting this venue!

I've never seen grapes growing from a vine before, so I got really excited that Cynthia actually grows grapes at her vineyard!
I must go to Hunter Valley very soon check out the Chardonay at Carbernet Sauvignon grapes before they end up in bottles.
