Happy Boxing Day!
We couldn't be any further away from the tradition of Boxing Day as a day when the higher classes gave gifts to the lower classes.
The holiday is named Boxing Day because the tradition of giving gifts of cash, food, clothing and other goods to the less fortunate were placed into boxes for easier transportation.
As we are still asleep in the wee morning, serious Sydney bargain hunters dragged themselves out of bed at 4am today to wait outside Myer city store, which opened at 5am.
Up the road at David Jones, $100 gift vouchers were handed out and Delta Goodrem was there ring the 6am opening bell.
They will close at midnight tonight.
If you think Singaporeans are kiasu, and Australians are only into going to the beach, think again.

We decide to shun the OZ tradition of shopping warcraft today and chose to relax at home watching DVDs.
We borrowed 不能说的秘密 from a friend quite some time ago, but couldn't watch as the older player was not region free.

Eliss baked some Batman nuggets to share as snacks. This is how it looked like fresh from the freezer.

Ta da! Golden brown on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Served with a dollop of Japanese mayo and it was divine as.
I like the Chopin pieces played in the movie, no wonder Jay Chou is a huge fan himself.
The plot itself was quite unique. We were guessing if 路小雨 is a ghost from the past, but the outcome turned out to be quite different.
I remembered that when I was young, my parents wanted to send me to Yamaha to learn to play the piano. But I was scared and refused to do it. Then when I was in secondary school, someone approached me if I wanted to join the school band. I chickened out again, thinking that I will be lost reading the notes.
So I lost 2 big opportunities to learn music. Till today, I sort of regretted that I didn't even gave it a try. That's why I'm more open to new things nowadays.
Rather to try and fail then to not try at all.
